Our company was founded in 1879 and has been in business since then, along with the history of Otaru's pioneering spirit. It is locally brewed sake from Otaru, a famous sightseeing spot called the ancient capital of Hokkaido and famous for its canals, glass, and sushi. The taste of sake consists of five tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, astringent, and spicy, and it is important to harmonize them. In particular, sweetness and dryness are of general interest. Our sake focuses on dryness, and is a refreshing and thirst-quenching sake that respects the flavors of Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisine.
