酒蔵について
Asahikawa's local sake brewery was founded in 1899. Asahikawa is surrounded by a harsh climate and the natural beauty of the Daisetsuzan Mountains, and is known as the "Nada of the North Sea" for its abundant water resources, making it an ideal environment for sake brewing due to the quality of the rice and water. Hokkaido rice such as "Ginpu," "Comet," and "Kitashizuku" is used in more than 90% of the total rice used, and the company has earned a reputation for brewing sake using Hokkaido rice. In 1975, in response to changes in people's tastes, the light, dry sake "Kokushi Musou" was created with the hope that it would become a unique sake that would be passed down to future generations, and is now the representative brand of the Takasago Brewery. In recent years, the company has adopted an eco-friendly storage method called "snow storage" that takes advantage of the natural environment unique to snow country, brewed sake that takes advantage of the regional characteristics of the rice-producing regions in Hokkaido, and developed products with companies from other industries that make effective use of all the sake lees, about 50 tons of which are refined annually. We continue to produce "things that can only be found here" as a local sake brewery in Asahikawa.
