Nemuro City in Hokkaido, the easternmost part of Japan, where the sun rises first. The Sea of Okhotsk stretches out to the open sea, and the Northern Territories are scattered right in front of the city. The sake brand "Kita no Katsu" was born in Nemuro City in September 1887, more than a hundred years ago. The city is blessed with a stable climate and natural environment, with its clean air and distinct seasonal changes, and traditional sake brewing techniques have produced a mellow, delicate flavor.
