酒蔵について
The founder moved from Kyoto to Ishioka in 1462, making it the second oldest sake brewery still in existence in Japan. For more than 550 years since then, the brewery has continued to preserve the tradition of "Fujiizumi" sake together with the local community. In the Edo period (1603-1868), Mitsukuni Mito visited the area and praised the activities of the Fujita Sake Brewery. While respecting tradition, we aim to be a company that constantly takes on new challenges. In 1933, Hide Fujita, the 27th generation of the company, was sent to Hawaii as the person in charge of establishing the technology for the Four Seasons Sake Brewing (year-round brewing) Project.
