Miyasaka Sake Brewery is the only brewery in Matsudai that started brewing sake in its current location during the Meiji period (1868-1912) and continued without interruption through the great wars of the Showa period (1926-1989). In 2010, the company name was changed to "Matsudai Miyasaka Sake Brewery Co., Ltd." and the company has kept the teachings of "passing down the past to the present" in its own unique style, and has commissioned brewing to the parent brewery, which uses Nagano Prefecture's sake rice suitable for brewing sake and produces sake with a quality full of character befitting Matsudai, the castle town. We sell original products that are said to be "delicious" and have inherited the dignified beauty of sake.
