Mino Tengu, Tomikoshi Brewer Hayashi Shuzo is located in the mountainous area of Hazaki, east of Kani City, Gifu Prefecture. 348 years ago (1612), Ihei Hayashi I owned and settled in Hiramaki Village in Mino Province (present-day Kani City, Gifu Prefecture), where he owned vast forests and fields. Ihei Hayashi, the ninth generation counting from that time, opened a sake brewery here in 1874. Since then, the sake has long been known in the community under the name "Tomikoshi.
