We were founded in 1922 as a sake brewery for Kamo Shrine, a local shrine. Since then, we have been producing high quality sake that is loved by the local people. In recent years, the demand for sake has become more diversified, and the growing local preference for sake has led us to develop our own sake brewery, which is now producing sake made from locally grown rice. We have also been brewing locally produced sake from locally grown rice, and reviving sake made during the Genroku period. The quality of sake is recognized by the National New Sake Brewers Association (NNSBA). The quality of our sake has won consecutive gold medals at the National New Sake Competition, as well as the "Tokusen Machi" magazine. The quality of our sake has been highly acclaimed, winning a series of gold medals at the National New Sake Competition, as well as the "Tokusen Machi" Sake Grand Prize contest. We will continue to strive to brew high quality sake that will be loved by our customers.
