Founded in 1923. Located in the main production area of Bizen rice, the brewery uses Asahi rice and other superior rice to produce mellow sake. The brewery is staffed by devoted farmers who work on the rice in the summer and on the sake in the winter. The brewery manager himself also participates in the brewing process, and all the brewery workers work diligently to produce high quality sake that will last a lifetime. The name "Momo-no-Sato" comes from the fact that the brewery's owner, Sango Ikumoto, brewed this sake in commemoration of the Emperor Showa's visit to the area in 1956, when he was given the honor of leading the Emperor's tour.
