酒蔵について
Kikuchi Shuzo, the brewer of "Sanzen," "Kimura-style Miracle Sake," and "Kurashiki Komachi," is located in a corner of the old wholesale district that once prospered as Bicchu Tamashima Port Town (now Tamashima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture) where Sengoku boats used to pass by. It was founded in 1878. The brewery named its sake "Sanzen" (meaning "brilliant" in Japanese) in the hope that it would stand out among the many varieties of sake. During the brewing period, the brewery is filled with Mozart's music, using rice suitable for sake brewing such as "Yamada-Nishiki," the king of sake rice, "Omachi," the pride of Okayama, "Asahi" and "Akebono," water from the Takahashi River basin, which boasts excellent water quality, and the outstanding skills of the Bitchu Toji, who has consistently received high praise at various sake competitions, to produce sake with quality at its heart. Our motto is to brew sake in accordance with tradition.
