It offers a sweet and sour taste reminiscent of citrus and plum wine. With an alcohol content of 8%, about half that of ordinary sake, it is also easy to drink with its acidity. It can be served chilled or hot. It is a new type of sake that is easy to pair with ethnic foods that have a sour and pungent taste.
