The mountain "Nihon Kuni" on the border of Kita-Echigo Prefecture is a mountain with a legend of the birth of Japan. The famous sake "Nippon Kuni" is a local sake made from "Kissho Shimizu" (selected as one of the 100 best waters in the Heisei era) that gushes out in the village of "Daimai" at the foot of Nippon Kuni, delicious rice from Kita-Echigo, and traditional techniques. It is a product sold only in the local area.
