味わいの特徴
This all-Shizuoka Junmai-shu is carefully brewed with water and yeast from Shizuoka, using Honorifuji sake from the Okabe-cho and Asahina area of Fujieda City, where the brewery is located. It has a mild ginjo aroma reminiscent of tropical fruits and a full flavor derived from the Ekuofuji grapes. The "Maru" in Okabe Maru comes from the name of a dog that was given to the brewery by the public health center and was loved by everyone in the community as Hatsukame no Maru-chan because of its friendly personality. The sake was named in the hope that it will be loved by everyone like Maru-chan, and that it will soothe people's hearts.
