The brewery is located in the northern end of Kabado County in the center of Hokkaido, nestled between the Ishikari River, the mother river of Hokkaido, and the Pinneshiri Mountains to the west, which are revered as the mountains of God. The Pinne area in this region is the main production area of Hokkaido rice, and the brewing water, which is called another lifeblood of sake, is drawn from the subsoil water of the Tokutomi River, which has a limpid and abundant flow of fresh snow water originating in the Pinneshiri mountain range.
