酒蔵について
Founded in 1919, the company changed its name to Fukushi Sake Brewery Co. in July 1991. The origin of the name "Fukutsukasa" is said to be the ancient Japanese word for "fortune" or "good luck", and the name was chosen in the hope that the sake would invite good luck. The water used for brewing is from Lake Mashu and Lake Kussharo, and has been filtered over a long period of time. The cool summer climate is ideal for sake maturation and long-term storage, and the harsh natural conditions during the cold winter months make "Fukuji" a local sake of Kushiro, Hokkaido, brewed with the passion of the brewery workers.
