酒蔵について
Founded in 1615 (Genna 1), the name "Tatsugoro" has been passed down through generations. The current head is the fifteenth generation, Takagi Tatsugoro. The brewery is located in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, an area rich in nature and known for heavy snowfall, with nearly 2 meters accumulating in winter. Yet, the air is so clear you can see a sky full of stars. Furthermore, the pure, sacred water that is the source of sake brewing gushes forth from the Dewa Sanzan mountain range's "Hayama," making it the ultimate environment for sake production. The company spent 18 years developing three proprietary sake rice varieties—Ryū no Otoshigoko, Sakemirai, and Hushū Homare—specifically suited to Yamagata's climate and soil. They also focus on cultivating rice farmers, nurturing rice varieties, and preserving rice paddies. Guided by our company motto: "Hear the voiceless, see the formless," we engage daily in dialogue with microorganisms like yeast and koji mold, nurturing them with care. We remain dedicated to crafting artistic Japanese sake—rich, flavorful, and memorable—that resonates with our customers, rooted in the harmony of people and nature.
