We always try to brew with a flexible mindset, with an open mind and a playful spirit, without being bound by anything. The sake quality is characterized by freshness and cleanliness, but we also try to express the characteristics of the various ingredients in a way that is easy to understand, and we incorporate a lot of playful ideas to design a sake quality that will make anyone smile when they take a sip. It is located in the southeast corner of the Yonezawa Basin at the intersection of the Ou Mountains and the Azuma Mountains, which are known as the backbone of Japan, and is one of the most rice-growing areas in Japan, rich in natural blessings. In the old days, the land was ruled by Sazuki Oniniwa, a vassal of the Date family. Nearby is Keiji Shimizu, which flows from the place where Keiji Maeda lived in his later years, and the company uses the underground water vein in the downstream area of this stream. According to records, the company's main business was founded in 1801, but before that, it is said that sake brewing was a side job for the headman of the estate. There is a record that two of his ancestors were killed in the Tenmei famine. *This brewery specializes in sake brewing. There is no sales area attached to the brewery. Due to the recent strict food sanitation regulations such as HACCP, the brewery does not have facilities for tours or sales.
