酒蔵について: In 1918, the first-generation Zenroku Matsumoto established a branch family and founded the brewery in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. The name was inspired by the beauty of Mount Nagura, located on the shores of Lake Inawashiro. We pursue the ultimate "pure sweetness," meticulously selecting our rice, brewing water, and techniques to create sake that truly reflects the Aizu terroir. Backed by this passion and high technical skill, our sake has won numerous awards, including 1st Place in the Junmai category at the 2018 International Wine Challenge (IWC) and 13 consecutive Gold Awards at the National New Sake Appraisal. We are currently expanding with new series like the "Aizu Samurai Spirit" series, centered on the concept of "challenge," and the "Lake×Whale?" series, featuring pop label designs inspired by Mount Nagura, Lake Inawashiro, and Oji Island—places that also feature in the sake names.
