- Founded in 1774. Guided by the philosophy of providing "a lifetime of refined intoxication," we strive to craft sake that accompanies people throughout their lives, from everyday moments to special occasions, bringing them enjoyment. Our brewery is located in the Higashi district of Shirakawa City, southern Fukushima Prefecture. The medium-hard water used for brewing, sourced from the fertile land surrounded by the first-class Abukuma River and the Nasu mountain range, promotes excellent fermentation and a clean finish. The foundation of the flavor created from this water is designed to be enjoyed as a dining companion. We strive for a sake quality that is "fresh, light, and dry," where the food and drink enhance each other. Marking our 250th anniversary of founding and 100th anniversary of company establishment in 2024, we resolved to dismantle our old brewery, damaged by the earthquake, and build a new one. The new brewery, "Seisui Kura," was completed in October 2025, marking the start of sake brewing in a new era.
