HUCHU HOMARE SAKE COMPANY
Ibaraki- 代表銘柄
- Wataribune
- 酒蔵について
- The company was founded in 1854 in Ishioka, at the eastern foot of Mt. For more than 160 years since then, we have dedicated ourselves to brewing good sake loved by the people of this area where the national government of Hitachinokuni was located for seven generations. In the Heisei era, the company discovered that a small amount of Watafune, a sake rice from the Meiji and Taisho eras and the father of Yamada-Nishiki, remained at a laboratory near the brewery, and from 14 grams of seed, in cooperation with local farmers, it was the first rice in Japan to be cultivated again. The sake is named "Watafune" and has a refreshing aroma reminiscent of fruit and a rich, full flavor that can only be produced with this sake rice. The other brand name, "Taiheikai," is based on the theme of sake that accompanies the seasons. We brew sake with a rich flavor for each season. We hope you will enjoy these two brands, "Watabune" and "Taiheikai," brewed by the brewery staff with all their heart and soul, while experiencing the climate and natural features of the eastern foot of Mount Tsukuba.
