酒蔵について
Founded in 1894 in Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture. Ageo flourished as the fifth post town along the Nakasendo Road, counting from Nihonbashi in Edo, and has long been a place where people gathered to socialize over a cup of sake. Blessed with high-quality groundwater from the Chichibu Mountains, the area was once renowned as a premier sake-brewing region where numerous breweries stood side by side. The brewery’s founding brand is “Bunraku.” While it once focused primarily on brewing light, dry sake, the fifth-generation brewery owner, Ryuichiro Kitani, returned to the brewery and radically shifted the management strategy. After approximately five years of effort, he launched the new brand “Sairai” in 2020. “Sairai” was born after a complete overhaul of the brewing equipment, numerous trial brews, and a process of trial and error. It is characterized by a beautiful harmony of three elements: an elegant aroma, a fresh sweetness, and a sharp, crisp acidity. Furthermore, in 2021, the brewery rebranded its founding label, “Bunraku,” releasing “Bunraku Reborn” with the concept of “lemon-like acidity” as a new approach to reach audiences unfamiliar with sake. Currently, “Azumagura” is located adjacent to the brewery, serving as a venue where visitors can enjoy pairings of local ingredients, soba noodles, and sake. We hope that Kitaniishi Shuzo’s sake will inspire many people to visit Ageo, bringing people together and helping to build a future where the community becomes even more vibrant.

Ebisutei has a history of about 100 years since its establishment in the Taisho era (1912-1926) and is one of the most famous restaurants in the area. The restaurant is well known for its eel dishes using sauce inherited from the previous generation, as well as dishes using seasonal ingredients suitable for family celebrations and special occasions.

A famous sushi restaurant located at the west exit of Ageo, which has been in business for 30 years. The location is in a residential area far from the station. There is a parking lot for nearly 10 cars on the left side of the restaurant. The restaurant has 13 seats at the counter, 8 seats in a small room, and 4 to 60 people in a tatami room. It is a spacious restaurant. You can enjoy not only sushi but also a variety of other dishes such as fugu (blowfish). The counter is crowded with local people.

Tanaka Family Restaurant (Ageo City)

The owner's respect for Japanese cuisine can be felt in the restaurant, saying, "Japanese cuisine can be enjoyed by taking the time and effort to create 'dashi,' or soup stock, and by carefully using seasonal ingredients to 'entertain' customers with delicious food." The "Omotenashi" seating includes a counter for quiet enjoyment and tables with their own unique atmosphere, as well as an upstairs loft space and open-air deck seating for a change of pace. From one person to a family or a group of good friends, you can enjoy a "delicious experience of food and conversation" with the friendly owner.

HACHIDORI

Our signature dishes blend the robust flavors of Mexican cuisine with the delicate touches of French cooking, creating a unique culinary experience you won't find elsewhere. Beyond the food, you can enjoy the Mexican art displayed throughout the restaurant, offering an extraordinary experience for both your eyes and your palate. Additionally, we're conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Ageo Station. This makes us easy to visit after work or while shopping around the station, and gatherings here are smooth for both meeting up and dispersing. The menu ranges from full-course dining to casual à la carte options, making it suitable for a wide variety of occasions, including dates, anniversaries, and meals with friends.

文楽 東蔵

Our first-floor tenant is a renowned soba restaurant headquartered in Karuizawa. Crafted by artisans, the soba features carefully selected buckwheat flour ground in custom stone mills to preserve its rich flavor. The cuisine features charcoal-grilled dishes and simmered dishes that pair well with sake, utilizing delicious seasonal ingredients with simple seasoning that brings out their natural umami. Jazz plays in the spacious open kitchen area, and the terrace seating allows dining with pets. Private rooms on the second floor are available for family gatherings, dinners with friends, or business entertaining. We exclusively serve our company's own sake. Some varieties are only available here, so we encourage you to try them.
