Begins brewing sake as the nation's first all-pure rice brewery. We brew sake without adding anything and without hiding anything. Shinkame" is the name of the brand associated with a turtle, a messenger of God, that used to live in "Tenjin Pond" behind the brewery. Hikoson" means "great-grandson," and is a brand name given to sake that has been aged for three years or more. The taste of sake becomes richer and more fertile as it matures over time. We hope to continue to offer a rich taste that conveys the goodness of the rice and has been aged slowly.
