- The company was founded in 1716. Tohei Shuzo's "Fukusuku" is a Japanese sake born in Kururi, Chiba, Japan. The brewery uses Kururi's famous water, which has been popular locally since ancient times, and Yamada-Nishiki rice as its main ingredient. The other ingredients are "Comet" from Hokkaido, "Omachi" from Okayama Prefecture, and of course, "Fusakogane" from Chiba Prefecture. The sake brewing process begins with the washing process. Our motto for sake brewing is "washing begins and ends with washing. The quality of the sake is crisp and clean, and the brewing process is carefully carried out by brothers and sisters. The quality of the sake is crisp and dry, but with a subtle aroma and a soft, full flavor. It has a nice crisp finish and is suitable for mid-meal consumption.
