- Established in 1881. It is located near Kujukuri-hama beach and brews all pure rice and unfiltered sake. The name "Kangiku" in the company name is derived from the winter chrysanthemum, a small but dignified flower that blooms in winter, and from the desire to brew dignified sake despite the small size of the brewery. The brewery's philosophy is to make sake that "fills the hearts of those who drink it," and to commit to this philosophy to the fullest, we have a lively team that values the autonomy of our staff.
