- Founded in 1883 (Meiji 16). Located near Kujukuri Beach, we brew sake that is 100% pure rice and 100% unfiltered. The name "Kankiku," which appears in our company name, is inspired by the winter chrysanthemum—a flower that blooms with small yet dignified blossoms in the cold season. We chose this name to reflect our desire to brew dignified sake, even as a small brewery. Guided by the philosophy of "crafting sake that 'fulfills the hearts' of those who drink it," we are fully committed to this ideal. As the independent and vibrant "Team Kankiku," we strive to evolve our brewing every day, aiming to add a little more color to the lives of our drinkers. Furthermore, we strive to create products that prioritize concept and storytelling, such as our series inspired by the Kujukuri Coast. We assign a theme to each brand, offering not just flavor but also value as an experience. By designing the very scene of the moment of drinking, we aim to create a cup of sake that fits seamlessly into everyday life.
