- In 1983, Sado Meisho K.K., the predecessor of Tenryohai Brewery, was founded. In 2018, the business was in danger of going out of business due to the lack of a successor, but Senichi Katoh assumed the position of representative through M&A. Since then, the company has launched a new brand, Gagarayo, and shifted to sake brewing with a thorough focus on quality. The spirit of Tenryohai now is to take on one challenge after another without fear of failure. To keep challenging, to not be afraid of change or failure, and to be sincere about sake. This is what Tenryobai Brewery is all about.
