- It is located in a town at the foot of Mt. Kakudayama, about an hour's drive from the center of Niigata City. We named our sake "Tsurukame" (meaning "crane turtle" in Japanese) in order to create a delicious sake that people will enjoy, and to give it a trademark of congratulations. The brewery seeks the highest quality sake that satisfies customers, and we dare to stick to a small brewing process. We select the right rice, wash the rice appropriately, and set the optimum water absorption conditions each time, and draw out the characteristics of the raw material rice by making full use of our expert skills.
