- Komatsu Castle was chosen by Lord Maeda Toshitsune of the Kaga Clan as his place of retreat. He also rooted the culture of food and tea in Komatsu. Our brewery was founded by Genemon I, who started the sake brewing business using local sake rice, and 150 years later, our passion for sake brewing has not changed. For truly delicious sake.
