Our company is located in the western area of the Kuzuryu River (Kawanishi district), about 12 km west-northwest of central Fukui City, and we began brewing sake in 1871. In this area, which is close to the Echizen coast and blessed with seafood from the mountains and the sea, we are constantly pursuing the true taste and beauty of sake. We carefully select local rice such as Yamadanishiki, Gohyakumangoku, and Hana-Echizen, which are grown under contract in the local terraced rice paddies, and carefully polish the rice ourselves. All of our products are Junmai-shu (pure rice sake), and all of our unrefined sake is brewed in small batches in order to produce sake that is truly valuable as a local industry.
