Founded in 1750, Shichiken boasts a nearly 300-year history. The brewery is located in the Hakushu area of Yamanashi Prefecture, which is known for its extremely high-quality water in the Japanese Alps. With the philosophy of "sake that embodies the local Hakushu water," the brewery has established a method of making ginjo-style sake that goes well with the Hakushu water. Shichiken Ohnakaya Junmai Daiginjo," which has been cultivated over its long history, was used at the official reception of the Davos Conference in Switzerland for four consecutive years since 2012. In 2015, we focused on the production of sparkling sake as a new division, and are working to create the value of sake that is loved around the world.
