- Suzaka in Shinshu retains the atmosphere of its Edo period past as a castle town with an annual rice yield of 12,000 koku. Its most famous attraction is Garyu Park in spring, where the lakeside blooms with 800 cherry trees in April. It's even selected as one of "Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots." Just a two or three minute walk from there stands the Garyu Warehouse of Endo Shuzojo. Founded in 1864, the Genji era, as the official sake brewery for the Suzaka domain, it has since supplied tribute sake to the feudal lord. Ever since, the brewery has passed down the founding master brewer, Tokuzaburo Endo's, strong conviction of "making delicious sake" through generations, continuously embracing challenges with an enterprising spirit. Blessed with beautiful nature, fresh air, and above all, pristine water, this land of Suzaka. From the Edo period's castle town to the prosperous era of modern sericulture... Endo Shuzojo has always been part of Suzaka's history, loving this land. Their sake possesses a mysterious power to spread smiles and connect people. This surely stems from the fact that everyone involved with the brewery is smiling. At its core is a deep love for Endo Shuzojo's sake. This deep affection spreads from person to person, connecting "those who drink to those who smile." We will continue to pour our heart and soul into crafting sake that you will enjoy. Our headquarters and sales office are located about a 15-minute walk from the brewery (29 Suzaka, Suzaka City). You can purchase all our sake brands: Keiryu, Naotora, and Suisei. At the sales office, we offer free tastings and a gachapon machine where you can win sake. The building itself is part of the relocated residence of the Suzaka domain lord, making both the interior and exterior well worth seeing. One minute walk from Suzaka Station, this is a long-established yakitori restaurant.
An authentic bar where you can enjoy cocktails made with fresh fruit, whiskey, etc. in a relaxed atmosphere. Cocktails using blueberries and blackcurrants from the Sonosato Farm in Toyooka City can be enjoyed all year round and are also popular. Another attraction of the bar is the wide selection of whiskeys and other Western liquors from around the world and local Kusu Winery wines lined up behind the counter. In addition to the delicious drinks, the food menu, which is named "Foods Bar," is rich in variety, ranging from pizza and pasta to snacks and sweets.
For more than 50 years since its establishment, Seikyoen has been serving the "authentic Korean taste" inherited from its predecessors on Sakuragi-cho Street in Suzaka. Many people may think of "sauce" when they think of Seikyoen. The Shinshu beef ribs are served with the sauce, which has remained unchanged for more than 40 years and has captivated regular customers. The side dishes such as "Chinese cabbage kimchi" and "kakuteki," which are directly from Korean chefs, are also popular. For lunch, except Mondays, we offer "Kalbi" with rice (large portion is free!), soup, and salad. We recommend the "Kalbi Yakiniku Lunch" which includes Kalbi, rice (large portion free!), soup, and salad. This is the sixth year that owner Sakamaki, a sushi chef, has been running this restaurant, which is located in a corner of a building in Kaminakamachi and has an adult atmosphere. The restaurant has earned a good reputation for its seafood dishes such as sushi and grilled fish, as well as its creative cuisine of all genres such as ramen and smoked dishes, and it also offers a wide selection of sake to match the dishes. Note that reservations for lunch must be made by the day before. For a reasonable price, you can enjoy a sushi lunch or a variety of rice bowl dishes.

An inn in a mountain village filled with the tranquility and warmth of Kita-Shinano. The inn is a peaceful place where you can listen to the murmuring of a stream echoing in a deep mountain valley, and feel at home. Sen-nin Onsen was discovered by a mountain priest in the Heian period (794-1185) and was the hidden hot spring of Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi.
A small guesthouse where time passes leisurely. The building is a good old authentic Japanese house. When you go out to the town, you will see houses built in warehouses that remind you of the prosperity of the past. You will find new stores that are particular about their products and services.
