The Masumi area of Toki-cho, Mizunami City is a rural area with the Toki River on the north side, the Kozato River on the east side, and fields on the south side (although development has been progressing recently). In the past, Mizunami City had two inns, Ohagi and Hosokute, on the Nakasendo Highway passing through the northern part of the city, and the Shimo-kaido Highway runs through the Masumi district, which was quite busy in the past. 　In the Middle Ages, this former Toki-gun area produced the Toki clan of the Mino Genji clan, and during the Edo period, the area was subdivided (divided into smaller fiefdoms), with each region having multiple fiefdoms. Many of them had sake breweries, but most of them are gone now. 　We sincerely hope you will enjoy the spirit and taste of our ancestral "Wakaba" brewery.
