- Sake is created through the exquisite collaboration of man and nature. A good sake cannot be made if one of the two is stronger than the other. That is why all we have to do is to build up the fundamentals one by one, to use all the techniques we know, and to be sincere in our approach to sake. We have been adhering to this principle since the company was founded in 1877. In our 143rd year, we have moved our brewery from Nakatsugawa City in Gifu Prefecture to Higashikawa Town in Hokkaido, but this attitude toward sake brewing has never changed.
