In 1991, the brewery was relocated from the center of Takayama to Kiyomi Village (now Kiyomi, Takayama City), which is rich in nature. The water used is from the abundant subsoil water of the Hida mountain range. The rice used is locally grown Hida "Hidahomare" and other rice suitable for sake brewing. The factory is lined with several large-capacity tanks that reach up to three stories high and are controlled 24 hours a day by temperature sensors and other state-of-the-art equipment.
