Founded in 1830. Our company is located in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, long renowned for its deep-sea fishing industry, boasting one of Japan's highest catches of bonito and tuna. Our products, developed alongside this city, pair perfectly with fresh fish, of course, but also complement Japanese, Western, Chinese, and various other cuisines, enhancing the quality of the dishes and elevating the enjoyment of your meal. We primarily use premium Yamada Nishiki rice from Hyogo Prefecture's Tojo Special A District for our sake rice. Our brewing water comes from the underground water of the Oi River, part of the Southern Alps water system. Additionally, we utilize "Shizuoka Yeast (isoamyl acetate type)," a unique yeast strain from Shizuoka, contributing to our sake's clean profile and refreshing, never-boring character. Embracing the spirit of "learning from the past to understand the present" – tradition, innovation, and the pursuit of essence – we refine our techniques to brew sake that is clean and enjoyable, ensuring our customers can drink with confidence.
