Founded in 1918 in Akashi City, Hyogo Prefecture, Akashi Sake Brewery Co. In 2005, the company began exporting sake to new markets, specializing in the local market in the U.K. It later expanded to France and the rest of Europe, and began exporting to high-end department stores in London and starred restaurants around the world. Since then, we have expanded our market to France and the rest of Europe, and have supplied many restaurants and bars, including high-end department stores in London, starred restaurants, and round-the-world cruise ships. In recent years, we have also exported to the United States, where our premium brand "Sake Akashi-Tai" has been enjoyed by people in Europe and the United States.
