- In 1945, ten breweries in the southern part of Awaji Island united their ambitions and formed a joint venture. Since its establishment, the brewery has continued to use the Yamahai method of brewing in an environment blessed with the delicacies of the sea and mountains of the Seto Inland Sea. All of the sake is made by hand. The brewer's face can be seen on the other side of the bottle.
