- Founded in 1871 (Meiji 4). The brewery was first established in Takehara, facing the scenic Seto Inland Sea. The percentage of specified name sake is 98%. Not all sake brewing is done by hand. We aim to make better sake with human hands when human hands are needed and with brains when brains are needed. The rice used is contract-grown Bizen Omachi, and the apple yeast unique to this brewery has taken the times by storm. We deliver these carefully selected sakes to our customers in their entirety unfiltered.
