The brewery uses water from the Saba River system, a first-class river that flows through the center of Yamaguchi Prefecture, for brewing sake with an umaguchi taste. In March 2007, the brewery was converted to a seasonal brewery with a small brewing process. The president of the company himself is the chief brewer, and he and his wife run the small brewery.
