酒蔵について
The Nishiki River flows through the eastern part of Yamaguchi Prefecture and empties into the Seto Inland Sea. The history of Yakushin Brewery, which began in 1877, has always been accompanied by the flow of this river. There used to be a landing place in front of the brewery located by the river, and rice brought in from upstream was unloaded from a step-like pier called "ganki". Various kinds of "life" live at the water's edge around the gangi. The water's edge is the place where life springs forth. Under the slogan "Life is born at the water's edge," we continue to create "life" by putting our heart into each and every sake. Our sake is pure rice and unfiltered. GANKI is the result of our dedication to bringing out the potential of the rice material itself. Our goal is to produce sake that is not artificial, but rather an honest product of nature, as if it had been there from the beginning. Straightforward sake is the kind of sake that makes you want to have another drink at the end of the day.
