The company was founded in 1802 as a manufacturer of ticking tobacco, and in 1926, with the monopoly of tobacco, Waemon Nakamura III started the sake brewing business. Located in Ikeda-cho, in the central part of Shikoku, it is surrounded by the Shikoku Mountains and is shrouded in bitter cold in winter. Blessed with clean air, beautiful water from the upper Yoshino River, and abundant nature, it is the perfect environment for sake brewing. With this blessing in mind, we are brewing "Ima-Komachi" with our family motto "Harmony is the most important thing" and with quality as our first priority.
