- Akaoka Town, home to Takagi Shuzo, is known as one of the most festival-loving towns in Kochi Prefecture. Our sake has been an integral part of local life, serving as a “festival sake” that reflects the joy and festive spirit of people gathering to share their happiness on festival days. While cherishing the culture and climate of Tosa, we brew our sake using ingredients from Kochi Prefecture, resulting in “Toyono Ume,” our flagship brand that embodies the essence of Tosa. We believe that the sake we produce serves as a medium for conveying the culture and climate of Tosa, which in turn helps revitalize Kochi’s industries.

This Japanese restaurant is located in Kami City, next to Kanan City where Takagi Brewery is located. The restaurant uses seasonal ingredients and offers a relaxed atmosphere for a leisurely meal.
A long-established buckwheat noodle restaurant that has been in business for four generations. The owner, who is a Tosa sake advisor, has selected more than 15 kinds of Tosa sake and seasonal sake from all over Japan, which are changed according to the season. If you are not sure what to order, just ask the owner and you are sure to find your favorite sake. The owner also welcomes customers who only want to order soba, and the soba tea served at the end of the meal is secretly very popular.
A bar specializing in Tosa sake with a collection of sake from all 18 breweries in the prefecture. Rare Tosa sake is also available. A wide variety of small plates are available for snacks ranging from 100 yen to 500 yen.
