- Famous Sake in the Village of Famous Water and Fireflies. Ogi City in Saga Prefecture is located in the northwestern part of Kyushu. This year marks the 145th anniversary since 1875, when Mr. and Mrs. Tuki and Rizo Shichida, who were engaged in flour and noodle milling, took over the brewing business from a nearby sake brewery that was going out of business. We will continue to strive for quality-oriented sake brewing that makes the most of the natural blessings of our hometown Ogi, which we have cherished since our founding, as the "traditional" and try to meet the challenges of the times with new and innovative ideas without fear of failure as the "new trend". Through the culture of sake, we will strive to enrich and enrich people's hearts and minds.
