- This sake features natural sweetness and acidity with no additives. This sparkling sake is made from Fukushima Prefecture sake brewing rice (50% milling ratio) and an ancient variety of rice called "asamurazaki" (purple-black rice). The anthocyanin contained in asamurasaki contains many nutrients, including vitamin B. In China, asamurasaki was used as "rice for immortality" in medicinal dishes, and was so valuable that it was presented to the emperor.
