- Princess Michiko" is a rose variety, and was presented by Queen Elizabeth of England to the current Empress Superior, then Crown Princess Michiko. The contrast between the dark green leaves and the reddish dark orange color makes this rose very beautiful. Tokyo University of Agriculture succeeded in isolating yeast from the flower of this rose. Currently, eight breweries that are graduates of Tokyo University of Agriculture and past recipients of the Tokyo University of Agriculture Management Award are brewing with "Princess Michiko" flower yeast. Junmai Ginjo Princess Michiko" is made from Omachi rice polished to 55%, and carefully brewed with a lot of time and care in the "rice koji" process, which most affects the taste of the sake. Please enjoy the gorgeous and elegant aroma and refreshing acidity of the flower yeast.
